Covidien 5-Quart Wall Enclosure with Sharps Container
This item includes one Covidien® 5-Quart Sharps Collection container and one Covidien® 5-Quart Wall Enclosure. This system does not include a mailback. When the sharps container inside the enclosure is full, place it in a TakeAway Recovery System prepaid shipping box for transport and proper treatment.
Covidien® 5-Quart Wall Enclosure
Mounted wall enclosures secure sharps containers, keep counter space clear, and help prevent access to contents in high traffic areas. Contents can be viewed by hospital personnel, but unsightly items are not fully visible to patients and visitors. These sturdy enclosures are made of ABS plastic — the same material used in football helmets.

This mounted wall enclosure with 5-quart container is ideal for medical, dental, veterinarian, and other offices that generate larger numbers of sharps as well as airport, shopping mall, and other commercial building bathrooms.
The wall mount is intended for use when mounting the Covidien 5-Quart SharpStar™ sharps containers. THe National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommends a standing installation height for a fixed sharps container in a clinical setting of 52–56 inches.
